About HEIDI

Heidi Kamei is relatively new to the Albuquerque area as well as the Land of Enchantment.  After growing up in North Texas and spending most of her adult life as a military wife, she and her husband decided move somewhere they'd never lived and followed an Army friend to Albuquerque. She is a graduate of Texas A&M University, where she met her husband of 35 years, Mike.  They have two adult children, one who is also in the military.

Prior to getting her real estate license in New Mexico, Heidi volunteered in locations around the United States with both daughters’ Girl Scouts troops, PTA, and school activities. She also volunteered with church, a historical preservation organization and a living history/reenacting group.  Heidi enjoys cooking, especially food from different cultures (she likes both red and green but prefers green); gardening and food preservation; historical preservation, and history in general.  Albuquerque has provided the opportunity to satisfy all her interests.

As someone who moved frequently, Heidi realizes the importance of “blooming where you are planted.”  She wants to help other families find a place to grow in the Albuquerque area.

Heidi joined Phocus Real Estate/eXp Realty in October 2021.
